Literally-
Everywhere I go, this car already is or shows up. Its getting weird.
Its one of the ones with molding [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/headscratch.gif[/img] Like a hertz, but I know hertz doesn't rent yellow.

Wonder if they are on here?

 

Live in Alabaster, why don't we all get together at a local parking lot for our own Saturday night drive in like the Street Rod crowd does at Walmart? [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif[/img]

Gawd those people scare me-dangerous. Ever been close?
Even the Classic Cars go to A&W every so often.

I don't know why we don't. Alabaster is covered over in mustangs. All colors and flavors. Bizarro Eleanor lives in Alabaster too- down 119. When I lived in Alabaster I felt VERY unspecial. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrinjester.gif[/img]

In other news, I will be dragging my filthy yellow mustang over to there shortly to get my real grocery store fix @ publix.

OK so those "people" scare you. WHY? They are as proud of their street rods and muscle cars as we are of our Stangs.

Don't knock them untill you go and visit. Took our '67 to one of their get togethers at the old Walmart on 31 last summer.

Had a great couple of hours talking , bragging about cars , etc.

At least they were better than the Harley crowd at the Sonic on thursday night. Never saw so many "heck angel" want to be's in my life.

However the Harley owners are great people, and are very proud of the bikes.

I just can't understand the reasoning if you own a Harley, you instantly have to start wearing leather (safety puposes) I guess. I never have owned a large street bike, but it would make sense.

And your wife is there after refered as your B****?

So the local gathering used this to refer to their women.

Not for me give me people that like their cars whether it be a VW, Mustang or a Pinto, Street Rod, etc.

Life is full of choices, to each his own. Thats why there are so many differnet car manufactures in the world.

I was around there on a bad night. I don't even know what I was doing- I don't shop there so I think I was going to Sonic. I only saw a ton of teenagers doing burnouts in the abandoned parking lot and speeding through the other lot to get there.

To be honest, since I moved down here to Cholera(haha) and the promenade in Alabaster opened(mmmm old navy) I haven't been out to my old haunts(A&w, Sonic) at night so things may have changed. Likely so.

I was out and about Sunday:
Just from My area of 31 to the "hot" new area of 31(7 miles) I spied in a half hour:
a white GT Vert
Two Lime Sixes
2 Black Sixes
1 Black GT
and two more white Sixes.


Down here in Shelby County, we must REALLY love our mustangs.....So many of them you can't shake a stick at em.

 

Why Not A&W? I love me some A&W. And Alabaster, Calera and Pelham are infested with mustangs.

I know where that is- one of my favorite areas of Alabaster. My Daughters best friend lives just up from there behind Kingwood, and I travel that area a lot. When I was in high school I lived in Pelham proper with the sliver zoned for Thompson and I spent TOO much time taking an hour to drive to school through there instead of down 11 like I should have.

I am over in Waterford with a jillion other 05/06 mustangs in shades of green red white and blue...They pop up like Jonquils here.
