Ok Dave-Burke0011 If your planning on coming up here to Deltona PM me cause I would love to have you over to the house one night for dinner, And I'm off mids Thurs morning so I can go to any activites thur, fri and sat. jackie where do we find the list of activities and when they start? If you and Perry are coming over and staying somewhere, PM me too and maybe I can get you over to my house in Deltona also wiht Dave , we could have a big dinner and some fun. Let me know Im only 20 mins from the speedway.WHat night is the Orlando Speedworld event I deffinitly want to see that. And matter of fact lets get a list of who is going and then Ill put out an invite for dinner one night for all,I just need a heads of of how many, my wife is an awsome cook and we had a graduation party for my daughter which was for 50 or more anyway so Im sure we can handle this.

Ok so lets talk folks, Wed night Orlando Speedworld I definitely want to see that, Daytime cruise to Seaworld dosnt interest me, looks like fri night or Sat night would be a good night to cruise into my place for dinner.

So far since this is basicly in my back yard, I have volenteered to plan the meet and roll in sat morning to the show, and have put up an open invite for a neet and eat at my house one night, which looks like thur, fri, or sat. Since we have two threads going on the same show, I posted on Dave's thread , "You thought Birmingham was hot!Try Daytona in June 07 for Super Stang fest !!" http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=53791

and asked everyone to use this one. So lets make plans on this thread if you dont mind.

 

I plan on registering for the show next week once I know my summer school schedule and all. I might be able to make it Friday and Saturday, but would like to make Saturday for sure. Can't wait!

Am I reading this right? http://www.superstangfest.com/register.htm $60 for a car show registration? If that's the case - count me out. I'll be a spectator only, unless the admission to the show is as insulting as the registration fee. Aint no way in hell I'm paying $60 for a **** car show registration. Ridiculous.

 

Dave remember that includes the admission to Daytona USA, which is some NASCAR musem I have never been to as I'm not into NASCAR. Tickets for Daytona USA are $24.00 so the rest, $36.00 is show admission. I plan on just buying a ticket to get in to the show, my Mustang is stock so I dont plan on showing it.
At least come up for the show saterday, dont miss out on that, and we will still plan on a meet and drive in together.

I recommend we all meet in Deland , somewhere on hwy 92, which is Intl Speedway Blvd, which takes us right to the speed way. In Deland we can meet at a resteraunt for breakfast or just the parking lot of any place we choose. I'l make us a map when we all decide what we want. Give me some feed back Perry, Jackie, Kyle, Dave..................

Yeah I'm down with meeting in Deland. Whatever you guys choose is good by me. Daytona USA has a couple cool things but overall isn't anything special. They have an exhibit where you can change a tire on one of the Wood Brothers' old cars. I had a couple kids helping me and did it in 16.1 sec. It's pretty fun, but there's really not much to do past that and a couple other little things.

OK peeps here is some info

We found a Hotel near the Daytona USA and its close to Hooters (its on the same road) and its the best price at only $49 a night. We will be there from Thursday to Sunday.

Ok Jackie and Perry, we could meet at that hotel and drive to the show Sat, but then that hotel is real close to the speedway so it wont be much of a drive.Or the rest of us from other locations like Dave- Burke0011, and Dave-MTAS and whoever else could meet in Deland and drive together to your hotel and then on to the Speedway.

Dont matter to me, I'm probably just going to go to the show Sat. The dinner invite is still open for everyone, I'm only 20 minutes from the speed way down I-4, just let me know when , Sat night might be good after the show, since Dave-MTAS is only going sat too. You all decide and let me know.

 

I don't know much about this show... when, where, etc. But, I probably can only go Saturday since I have to work (well, I have to go to work, at least).
