Fantasy of Flight April 5, 2008
We all voted for our OWN car... so that's 1 vote each car (that's all you get for 2005 and up modified)... so that doesn't do anything. I know you were kidding, but I wondered if people would think that, though... but I don't see how it could be done.
I do wonder how I got a People's Choice... the white car never gets anything!

But then again maybe they did as a couple of cars I voted for won.B

I'm sure that having all of us voting for each other was a help. However with 300 cars in the show - and each gets a vote - our 15 votes would still be a minority so I think any win was definately deserved. Of course I could be a wee bit biased.
Thank you for your vote. It was much appreciated. There were a ton of nice cars there that day. Yours definately included in that list.
Have a good one.
I was just kidding with you.

{I didn't vote for myself though when it came to my own class]
And yeah I thought the same thing - with at least 250 cars entered, even if everyone didn't vote, we would have needed more than just our own group to win in a category. *&#$ I was just happy to take one home there this year however it worked (third year attending) - I was pretty pleased with my Redfire daily driver
Heck, I voted for you guys Kathy
- dang if that new hood didn't look fine

Thanks much. I think your car is quite worthy of a trophy. By the way we were talking to Perry & Jackie and you can count Jon & I in for the 9/11 cruise. It should be a blast.

AWESOME
You guys and the Shelby would be a welcome addition to our little group's contribution to the Cruise.
Like I told Perry and Jackie, I will do advance scouting for whoever needs it ahead of time for a decent hotel to stay at for Friday and Saturday night (cause you don't want to have to think about driving IN sat morning and going straight to the cruise).
Then we also have plans for a casual cruise of our own on Sunday before you guys split (I'm sure Perry has filled you in). Its a blast and lots of pic/video opportunity.
Me too. Not missing it this year!!
Oh the actual count was 405 entries.
And as far as voting in the S197 class's. Yes there were 4 categories, but they combined them into 2 for awards. Stock Limited editions and Stock were combined, as was Modified Limited and Modifed.
The fact that they Mustang Clubs are finally acknowledging the S-197's is awesome in itself. We were the black sheep of the purest crowd for quite a while. Much like the SN-95's were when they first showed up.

Why didn't you vote for your own car, Dave? I voted for mine - it needed all the help it could get!
I ment to ask you what class they put your trooper car in - do they just consider it in the regular class for that year or is there a special class????
Kat
I guess it could be possible, but each person only got 1 ballot with your entry packet.

I mistakenly changed it to that Special Vehicle class and, like Kyle said, only 1 award was given.
