This morning the Weather Channel is saying mostly sunny, 90 degrees, 10% rain chance for Saturday. Let's hope they know what they are talking about.

 

As long as the weather cooperates, I will plan on being there with a friend of mine.

The I4 Exit is 44.

The meeting point will be at the gas station that's just as you exit I4, south of I4 on SR559 (which is the exit for Fantasy of Flight).

Westbound I4 travelers: hang a left on SR559 and cross back over I4 and the gas station/truck stop is on the left.

Eastbound I4 travelers: hang a right on SR559 and the gas station/truck stop is there on the left.

Meet at 8am, leave at 8:30am. That gives us plenty of time to get a pic with the P51.

 

No new mods on the '06.

I do want to put that button in the front of the engine compartment on the '89 with a sign that says "Push at Own Risk". Which, of course, would blare the air horn.

Then, no matter where we are at the show, we can say - "Somebody pushed it!"

 

Talk about mods. eesch!!! Not for the squeemish, nor faint of heart. Sooooooooo, anyway, got this real bright idea (should have known better) but anyhow, didn't like all the Black up front. Sooooooooo, out came the headlights. Then the fun part, Unsealing them. (Do NOT attempt this on your own). $200.00 bucks later, I have my Redfire Headlight Buckets. Should'a just gone to the paint shop first. Was a bit of a hack job getting them apart and ready for paint. Well, all back together now, and the sealer (Industrial E6000) is setting up nicely. Soooo, that's the "main" difference up front. And thanks to Marcello, the rear is a "tad" custom also (different from your average Stang).

Tell me how you did your headlights on Saturday. Love the look. Like the emblem as well.

I just spent a hour vaccuming and cleaning my interior and trunk, haven't even wipe the seats or dash yet. Got to hot, wish I could AC the garage...

 

For all the trophy-seekers (Chuck ), remember that this is People's Choice only and no judging. I know we all want our cars to look great, but "people" don't look at the cars as closely as "judges".

I'm not going to even wash mine.
