Well, it's not too early to start throwing around a list and a meeting place for Fantasy of Flight in Lakeland so we can all drive into the car show together.

I'm not sure of the times, so if anybody has any more info, please post it here!

OK, so registration starts at 8am. We'll pick a place close by and have our usual 30 minute window to meet.

I'm going to put it right out there and say 7:30 - 8:00 and then head over to the show. You all know what happens when we get there late!

I know it's over a month away, but these threads are so much fun!

 

I've never been to this show, but I'm going to try to make it this year. Looks like fun. Anybody have their car photographed in front of the P-51? What did the photo cost you? FYI: The registration form also states that there will be a dyno on site, $50 for two pulls.

 

Doesn't cost a thing for the pic with the P51, but you have to be there no later than 10am.

Took me a bit to figure out what you were getting at But at this show, everyone parks in the grass

I'd say a good meeting point would be the gas station that's just as you exit I4, south of I4 on SR559 (which is the exit for Fantasy of Flight). I4 westbound travelers, hang a left on SR559 and cross back over I4 and the gas station/truck stop is on the left. East bound I4 travelers, hang a right on SR559 and the gas station/truck stop is there on the left. Meet at 8am, leave no later than 830am? That gives us plenty of time to get a pic with the P51.

 

Sounds perfect to me - time and place. So our window will be 8:00 - 8:30... that gives everybody an extra 1/2 hour.

Can't wait to get that pic!
