Anyone coming to orlando for the spring break shoutout
OK, a couple of things - first, for you brave folk wanting to caravan from Tampa to the track in Orlando, and I'm open for suggestions here, but it looks like the folks who will already be in Orlando want to meet up with us no later than 8am. That means, and hold on to your butts, that we should leave the BK no later than 6am

I get up at 04:30 every day so I ain't scared of no 6 a.m. As for meeting at Hooters, Dave you are correct that you cannot get back on the 408 toll road going East from the Alafaya exit. But there is another eastbound entrance at Rouse Road which is only a few blocks West from the Hooters.

We can survey the carnage from the night before in the daylight too
with my drivetime then I will roll out from my pop's place at 6:30 or so
I don't know the area extremely well - BUT after the burnout contest I had to drive back to the track last year before the gates closed (since we were staying in my brother's motorhome) and it was pretty simple as I remember to get back on 50.....

Can't wait, I need a Stang fix real bad. Really looking forward to it. Although I can't park next to any of you guys because you make my car look like, well I hate to say it, STOCK!
But somebody's got to bring the LIME!

Actually I wanted to throw something out just to clarify - the Hooters gig is actually the MM&FF FFW party. The burnouts are more tradition than anything, and it's not a contest in any way. It's an all out free-for-all and there is no law present. Last year I was really disappointed with the number of non-Mustang burnouts that took place - too many mini trucks and F350 Duallys for my taste (especially one jagoff in his Bubba truck clipped the front bumper of a beautiful Fox body notchback, then drove off). But all in all it's always a good time - and remember folks - I would strongly advise against parking up close to the restaurant. All it takes is one vehicle to get traction and all hell would break loose. I've been going to these things since 2001 and it never ceases to amaze me how a car has never gotten away from someone.
So, we will meet at Perry and Jackie's hotel Friday night between 4:00 and 4:30 pm and then head over to Hooters for dinner at 4:30?
Then Saturday and Sunday morning, we will meet at that Hooters between 7:30 and 8:00 am and then caravan over to the car shows at 8:00?

I thought we were meeting at our hotel Friday before hooters (so we can park together) and also the same for FFW Sat and Sun? Its up to you guys whatever you think is best. Our hotel is closer to the speedway than Hooters is. Also the cool thing is the hotel is not far from Hooters and you do not have to get on an express way to get there :-)

at the Hotel leaving at 4:30 for Hooters.
As for Saturday and Sunday my thoughts were meeting at the Hotel parking lot around 7:30am and leaving for the speedway at 8am
