I'm going (weather permitting) to Steele, AL Friday night 5/26/06. Track is open 9 PM - 1 AM. Admission is $10.00 per person and ladies get in FREE.

Had fun on my 1st night of running on a track. Wow, it is like driving on ice. Had to feather out on the clutch just to keep from spinning. Ran a 13.8 at 103. I am positive I could shave a couple of seconds off my time.

 

I went there Sunday, and you are right about the driving on ice part. Spun way too much and could only get a 2.3 second 60'....which is pretty awful. Of course it was my first trip to the track, so I will practice my launches before I go again. Best time was a 13.8 at 104, so if i could have lauched the car .........

 

When do you think you'll be going again?
