For the Waterford Lakes show on 2/26 - Anyone from the Tampa area who's going, we're meeting at the Shell station at I4 & Park Road. There are 2 Shell stations as soon as you get off the interstate, we're meeting at the one on the east side of Park Rd, by 730am to head east to Waterford Lakes. Hope to see tons of '05s. Also, if anyone east of Plant City wants to join the caravan, PM me with your cell and I'll give you mine and we can meet at various points along the way!

Classic Mustangs of Tampa.
The Club membership is much broader than the name implies. At least two of us have 2005s and the membership covers the gamut of 1965 through 2004. Several members have more than one of multiple generations. For example, I drive the 2005 and am restoring a 1967 coupe.

We have 2 meeting locations for caravaning, listed below with details, both groups of cars will meet at an I-4 rest stop, and proceed together to toll road 417 we will be taking that east and north to 408 also a toll road, and head east to the waterford area, we will be trying to meet up with 2 other clubs at the best buy across the street from the show. The 2 clubs are Performace Perfection, and CF SVTOA, after the show they have their weekly meet at the Donato's Italian Resturant Parking lot across the street from the show. I was told we welcome to hand out with them, and also if you like Italian food Donato's is very good I have eaten at one of their other locations a number of times.
Location one is at the Shell station on the south side of the interstate, and the east side of Park Rd this is this is Interstate exit 22 This Group is planning on leaving by 7:30 to meet at the I-4 rest stop past Lakeland by 7:45

Location Two meeting spot will be the Winn Dixie Parking Lot located on the SouthEast Corner of SR 52 and Moon Lake Rd (CR587).

This group will be leaving by 6:30 and will proceed east on SR52 to CR 579 (Happy Hill) turn right and head south and make our first left onto Clinton Ave.

We will proceed east on Clinton Ave to US 301, turn right and head south to the US98 JCT turn left and Take US 98 to I-4, Head east on I-4 to Meet up with the other group of cars at the I-4 rest stop east of Lakeland by about 7:45
Rest Stop meeting Location
According to this web site the I-4 rest stop in question is in between exits 44 and 48
so it should be after this exit sign so it should be the one and only Rest stop east of Lakeland. Both Groups of cars will attempt to leave this rest stop by about 7:45 and head east on I-4 to toll road 417 just a note this exit can be kind of tricky if you make a wrong turn you will be in the Disney Celebration development, ( Map ) so watch the signs, also this exit is just before the exit to old town now after checking with this Toll Calculator the tolls should be $3.00 to reach our destination

I just checked the weather channel and it looks like the weather is supposed to cooperate too - just partly cloudy Saturday after rain today and more rain expected on Suunday.

Crazy John here from New Jersey! Moving to Pasco County just north of Tampa the first week of April! My 05 GT Convertible has been built and should be at my dealer in NJ next week. I will be driving down with my wife and my DOBERMAN named MAMA in the back seat!! Looks like Florida highways are GREAT!!
