Question for anyone that already has an x-mod - are the bodies interchangable? I saw a red Mustang Cobra body for $9.95 - I would have grabbed it too, but I wasn't sure and the old-school wheels on the '65 stang don't match the Cobra's body.

 

Yes, the bodies are interchangeable. I've sold a couple of '65 Mustangs with the Cobra R body top & kit. And yes, the '65 wheels don't go well with other bodies. You'll need to pick up the Wheel Upgrade kit if it's still available.

 

They also have the Xmods in an 05 Mustang. It is Blue and there are body accessories that can be changed on the it. I want one,painted Redfire.

 

The '05 GT is nice, a bit too pricey for me. The '65 Mustang is no longer on sale and back to $49.99. But the Cobra body and the '65 body accessories are still on sale for $9.95/$5.95. I wish the Wheel upgrade kit would go on sale.

Does anyone think the blue one can be painted Redfire or anyother color with the right surface prep? I'm hoping they will eventually release an '05/'06 body or maybe even a GTR body

 

I found the 65' Mustang Kit in local stores this week for $29.99 or 40% off.
