Hey everyone, just got some more 1/18s in the mail

I must say Shelby Collectibles in giving AutoArt a run for it's money. The detail on these things recently is really surprising me. The wheels and rubber on the KR and SS are perfect, as well as the badging. Wish I had pictures but my cam is acting up but I'll get some up soon!

Also, the stripes and paint on the "kitt" KR look so sharp. I mean looking at it right now, you'd swear it was the real car shrunken down to 1/18! Also...it is a detail...but the display stand nameplates for these things (ex. GT500 KR) are painted and look good as well. They used to be cheap stickers that would peel off usually. SC seems to be paying much more attention to the details...

The new Shelby Collectables are much better, I agree 100% and don't mean to Hi-Jack your thread but I was just getting ready to post these up so here ya go.. The KR and Super Snake, I ordered these at the SEMA Show last year and they just came in last week!

 

They look great.

I can't wait to get mine. I ordered yesterday KR, SS, GT-H conv and shelby GT conv.

Zoran, I promise you will not be disappointed by the quality and awesomeness of these models. SC has really stepped it up a notch. Ok maybe 2 notches!

I may have just noticed a mistake on the Super Snake. Where is the giant SHELBY lettering on the front?

SS doesn't have Shelby lettering on the front like KR.

 

I thought the same, then looked at some pics. If it was the one with the Shelby not badged on the hood, then shouldn't the heads be blacked out like the actual Shelby factory built it?

Nice pics and the headlights are HD's now and look correct unlike the first ones I have the Shelby GT and H version had weird headlights but these look great!! Now to find that black Kitt one it looks great!!

 

Nice! this post got me excited, and I ordered the Black version. KITT *shudder*. Not that I don't mind the show. I just hate when I like something and then something mainstream uses it too. Then people think that I'm doing it only because they are. Just like when Fred Durst started wearing his red Yankee hat, I stopped wearing mine.

I'm getting it because its the closest model to my car that has the black stripes that I will be putting on my car in a week or two.
