Don't ever believe the price tag at the Mattel store. Everything is discounted, it was $2.62 and all of the regular HW's are $.74 with two-for-one's on some days and other specials sprinkled in throughout the month. I heard these two ladies walking out of the store saying "let's go to Target, we can get things cheaper there!". I'll betcha they spent more money than they thought without even knowing it. 
You have to remember it's a discount outlet. Oh... and they also have a membership card that can get you additional $ off each purchase (which I forgot about).
