whats a good place to get kits not preassembled models? whats a good price some on the site above seem outta hand
go to your local hobby store, I have one here called "Hobbytown USA" and they got aisles of them....they have a lot of them at Michaels also.....I got a sweet Boss 302 kit there (go to my thread titled "a few of my diecast cars" to see it)....and it was a really good price.

what would you call a "really good price" and which brands make good products
well I got my boss kit for $12.00.....for assembly kits, I would say the best is Revell - Monogram....and if u want a paint model, I reccomend Testors paint

is it difficult to paint the cars my cousin had an airbrush but is that really neccesary to get the paint to turn out good?
ok dude, create a free account on gomotorbids.com.....i found this 1970 boss 302 kit on that site, thought u might be interested......the thing I don't like about this site is the shipping costs.....it is $7.00 for shipping.....and that is an unfamed poster! :notnice:
