take a 15 dollar walmart cue and turn it into something that looks bitzin'

 

all you need to do is put it on a silver chain and wear it around yor neck!

That's pretty sweet!!! How'd you do that with the paint?

 

Use mystic paint or mirage ... paint.
they have like a whack of different colour shifts.
Blue -> red
Green -> Purple
Gray -> Green
Purple -> Gold
Ice (like a silver with sparkles...kinda weird)
Its not true mystic in that it only changes 3 colours...the start, the finish..and one in between.
Green -> Purple has a blue inbetween...

Can buy it at like walmart, canadian tire etc.
I used it on my AC **** and ashtray, and my keyboard at home.
Tried it on the pool cue, and looks pretty sweet

 

I would love to have a pool stick with color changing paint

 

UPDATE:

Well it didn't go as planned, but the 14 dollar cue has its place in the R&D archives.
I found what worked and what didn't.

Attempt 2 will (this summer) be:
-top half of the shaft...leave it alone
the paint put so much friction on the cue, its not a smooth game by any means
-bottom half...same as before paint with the mystic paint.

I redid the cue and painted the entire cue mystic.
The crappy wrap on the bottom started to come off, and i too painted that portion of the stick another duplicolor mirage 'ice' colour (its basically silver with a rainbow tinge to it in the light)
Looked cool...made my buddy high while playing with it (fumes)
