yep, Super Treasure Hunts are rare....they're very limited runs and they have special paint and rubber wheels. But, they are hidden and they cost the same as regular Hotwheels. 89 cents to $1.07 but they are worth anywhere from $20-90 Dollars.
Taken from Yahoo Answers....
"Mattel took the Super Treasure Hunt Series for 2012 and moved it from the Treasure Hunt (Green Stripe) series into the Mainline collector series. So no green stripe, just T Hunt Treatment ie Spectra-flame paint/real rider tires of the regular cars. Super Treasure Hunts are considered Hidden T Hunts, and now can be part of any of the standard series. Idea is scalpers can't just come in and buy up the green stripes, they now have to look through the pegs for the individual cars, takes a lot longer, hopefully not worth their time, and that gives guys like you a chance to find them.
For examples, check ebay - search for 2012 super treasure hunt - there's side by side listings so you can see the difference of a regular car and the Super car. First few out are in the blue stripe muscle mania series."

Correct, however, the regular plastic wheeled, normal paint version isn't considered a Treasure Hunt...it's just a normal car. It is the best way for Hotwheels to hide them from Scalpers (ie. people/store employees who just find them and turn around and sell them only for profit).

Picked these up in the past few days. The Red '87 GT was made by Remco as Coke promotion, picked it up at a local antique store, the trailer and '93 Cobra was found at Wal-Mart.
