Muscle Cars, R9
They thundered across the vistas in the ‘60s and early ‘70s…proud and relentless…in the plumes of smoke and seared rubber. No fear. No limits. The only rule was what lied beneath the hood. American muscle cars are back in an all-new release of our most popular line ever! American muscle cars were proof of what Detroit could engineer when lightweight bodies offered gaping engine compartments. When stylish body lines concealed powerplants pushing 400 horses. When General Motors unleashed the Pontiac GTO in 1964, few understood what had just happened. The first mass-production automobile to pump an overdose of cubic inches into a mid-size body. The modern era of muscle cars had been born.

The Sonic Blue looking 05 is from a Toys R Us exclusive 10 pack which is just starting to show up now, it has quite a few other Mustangs in it. Well worth the 19.99 in my mind.

Wll, I got three of the black Johnny Lightning '05 Mustangs. Compared to the Hot Wheels version, it has better proportions and detail. My only gripe is that the wheels are too small. Either they really are molded that way or the black paint on the Bullitts makes them small.
