I picked up a model of the a DHG 68 GT390. Its made by Revell. It has a solid metal painted body and went together in a matter of 5 or 6 hours. It looks great though and only cost me $15.

I bought the same model last year, spent whole weekend working on it, and still its 2nd worst model I ever build (1st is 68 Charger from "Bullitt"). I'm not buying 1:18 models in parts ever again.

Why didn't you like it? I thought it was pretty straight forward. Were there pieces missing?

No, no, I did like it. I just did really bad job on it. Since that day, I'm only buying complete models, never in parts.

Oh I see. Yeah they can be tough sometimes. I had to switch around a couple of the steps to get the parts to go together right.
