My dad and i hit the sopiurce today and picked up the 65 fastback....pretty sweet but man was it a challenge putting it together lol...i was kinda disappointed cause it seemed a it too slow...i diont know if its the batteries or the motor...still pretty cool tho

It's not hard to swap the motor; just a little time-consuming, as you'll need to separate the rear end assembly from the chassis. On an average, it takes 10-15 minutes to do a swap.

The most time-consuming mod is the Metal Bearing Upgrade, which may take up to an hour to complete. This is because you will need to disassemble majority of the chassis to replace all nylon bushings with the bearings. But in the long run, it's worth the time, as your car will run much smoother and more precise.

No. The motors already have connector pins soldered to them, so all you have to do is unplug the stock motor and swap it out with a faster one.

 

cause i coudnt trace back the connections to the pins...ill look again
