You've won a contest and can pick 1. Foose, Roush, Saleen, Steeda, Shelby GT?
There are a few options out there for a SE/tuner/aftermarket Mustangs in the upper $30,000s to lower $40,000s.
Which one of these cars would you choose if you had won a contest and were allowed to pick 1 of these 5 mustangs? All have naturally aspirated engines and retail in the upper $30Ks to lower $40Ks

A '68 GT390.
But of those options, a Shelby GT. They are beautiful. I entered that contest to win a black one and matching guitar... I almost hope I don't win (well, my ma technucally, I'm only 16) because I know I'd have a heart attack if I did.

It's funny but I don't like most of the tuner Mustangs. The best of the bunch, imo, is the Shelby but not because it says Shelby. I just like the FRPP kits (I Know you can get more power out of a different tuner & CAI). The aggresiveness of the CS kit just pulls it together for me. The other tuner kits really turn me off to their products with the exception of Steeda.

Shelby GT!!

Of those choices I would buy the Shelby GT hands down for many reasons that I won't go into. However, give me $45K and I'll build a car to put any of those to shame in all respects.

of those choices I voted shelby gt. awesome car with lots of tradition. I would love to own a shelby.
how much is stage 3 roush though, I thought that was 45k? if the supercharged stage 3 was on the list, that would be my first choice.

Seeing how I paid less than the $45K limit imposed here for my Stage 3.
If I had to chose 1. It's Roush as you do get a lot of engineering and content for your $$$.
The Foose is nice, but with more emphasis on styling rather than substance
The Shelby is a waste of money. LOW content to dollar ratio. One would be better buying a GT and the FRPP packs separatley.
Saleen again nice, but fit and finish of the ones I have looked at closely concerns me. And a bit on the portly side too. Known to be a bit slower than stock GT.
Steeda I reserve comment on as I do not know enough about their car.
