I subscribe to Bone Stock Mustang. They have a lot of nice mod articles, but none have appealed to me yet.

It'll be a looong time, Justin! GT is going to my son in 4 or 5 years, and I hope he keeps it for the long run.

How many guys here wish they still had their 60's something Coupe, 69/70 Mach 1, Boss whatever? Just hope my son won't make that mistake.

Mainly cosmetic mods so far (e.g., just about all of the stuff MGW makes for the interior, MRT hood struts, MWAG plenum cover and mirror inserts, 14 inch shorty antenna, SilverHorse honeycomb panel [still waiting on the manual shifter bezel], WebElectric sequentials. etc.), but I do have an AirAid CAI sitting in a box that I hope to install soon, and I see an XCal and a tune or two in my future, along with GTA mufflers.

This is so addicting, but it's so fun!

It just makes the stock Mustang GTs all the more rarer!

I put down stock because anything I've done is really just replacement or should have been done by Ford at the Factory.

JBA axleback is a replacement of the stock, Door sill inserts just make "Mustang" stand out, Pony emblems on the side Ford should have done from the beginning, and K&N airfilter/oil is just stock replacement.

Does this count as modded?

Well, by that token, a custom tune just replaces the stock tune, and a GT500 front grill/bumper just replaces the stock one, 20" rims just replace the stock wheels, custom pink and tangerine flaming paint job just replaces the stock paint, and a Kenne Bell Blower just replaces the stock intake. So, yeah your still stock!

Not that I don't want to mod...I just have other things to spend money on first.

Edit: I'm not counting window tint as a mod.

Stock but getting hood struts and planning on getting sequential tail lights. I kind of like the options that came with our Mustang. They're good enough for me, at least for now.

Mine's mechanically stock except for a few cosmetic "personalizations":
  • chrome bullet wheel center caps
  • Spoiler deleted
  • silver grille frame (honeycomb and foglight rings still black)
  • silver console top
  • blue piping in interior door panels
  • chrome exhaust tips
  • lowered about 1" inch in the rear
I'm staying away from mechanical mods right now since it's my daily driver and I have a 240Z V8 swap project I am trying to finish. But a tuner for the 'Stang is really really tempting.

WoooHooo!!!! I was modded stang #100!!!

Yeah I know, big deal right.

Mine is modded, but I've kept all the OEM pieces so that if I want to, I can change it back to pretty much stock in the future.
