Is what i was told at a local dealer. They can not get me a GT, and they are no longer taking 05 orders, and in fact said that over 900 current 05 orders will be kicked back. Looks like 05 is over. Bring on 06.

 

Hmm, that is extremely discouraging news. Guess I might have to have a back up plan in case mine is one of the 900. I won't go the summer without a new car, mine is dying anyway.

 

This was a coupe BTW. Though he said he could not get a single GT vert either.

Not good news, but I'm happy to hear that the dealer is being straight with you. They could have just as easily taken your money, and told you the bad news a few months from now.

Find a dealer with an allocation available - it's not over yet. I doubt the 900 number they gave you is correct, but those 900 (or whatever the number is) will come from dealers with no allocation, regardless of whether they order now, or ordered in December.

Time for a road trip to a dealer in another state I think.
