Ok i narrowed it down to three colors...

Black, Fire Red, and Sonic Blue.

i want the red leather interior no matter what.

im deciding which of the 3 colors to get...

other than that. this is what i will do.

First id sell my probe gt and get like 2300 for it. then i would take that money and buy heads, headers, and cat back.... then i would gradually do other stuff... i think i would get 3.73 gears. then underdrive pulleys. a high performance clutch. New upper and lower intake. then after all of that is done! id go for a nice purdy supercharger...

Id be crankin so serious power there! lol

For some reason I'm thinking that red leather seats aren't available with Sonic Blue.

I want a silver 2006 or 2007 GT convertible with dark charcoal leather interior, the interior upgrade package, and a concept '05 hood.

I have ordered a black GT with DCG interior with the IUP. I really like the red but I was concerned with the red seats turning pink like on the old mustangs.

 

I ordered Sonic Blue with Dark Charcoal Int. IUP. I hadn't planned on the red leather, but I haven't heard that it was unavailable...interesting.

Anyway, I plan on new intakes and and upgraded clutch (at some point). As far as the exterior goes please get your windows tinted (looks sweet & helps protect the interior). Everyone has their own preference with tires, but I'm with Brad regarding the concept hood (I love those scoops!!)

 

07 Cobra for me. Colors and mods depend on what is available and what is stock power and how easy,inexpensive and reversible mods are.

 

I'll be waiting for the '07 SVT, hopefully a ragtop. I can already hear the dealer playing the theme from "Deliverance" (OWCH!!!). I hope if I order early enough, they won't be instituting Dealer Markup yet. What I want:
Black w/Black top, Silver w/Black top, or Grabber Blue White top. Either one with a Grey interior, 6 speed. That is, if the price isn't through the roof.....

 

I've ordered my mineral grey GT with IUP & CAP. Then in a couple years I'll probably trade up to the Cobra .

To answer the above questions, go with black with red interior. I had it in my 1965 Mustang GT convertible, and it was awesome.

 

I'm jealous. I can't buy anything this year. I bought my wife a new car last month and myself a '98 F-150 in January, so I have to hold off. Otherwise, I would do what you are doing and trade it in '07. Oh, well...

 

GT, Mineral Grey w/Charcoal leather interior, and IUP

 

I want an 06 SE if any at that point in Black or Sonic Blue. If I got black I would get the red interior. Then I would get some nice wide 18's. And some engine goodies like a supercharger, a new bumpstick, the new rockers for modular heads, and then an intake and full exaust. Dont forget some dyno tuneing

 

It'll be around 2008 when I get my "new" GT. I have a friend who runs a wholesale dealership and he can get me any model you guys happen to trade in for a grocery-getter.

Now remember to keep up with those maintenance schedules and treat my...er. I mean, your car well. :usa:

btw, anyone know if we can have them remove the fog lamps on the GT? I really dislike them... and want them gone... or, are they hard to remove myself?

 

Another SVT in the stable in '07 for a cruiser ... I need a full time track car .... Red interior IS A MUST !!!!
