When you're at the race track and there are cars running 8+ second 1/4 mile but everyone stops to watch the 05 run sub -14 sec. 1/4.
My wife says you'd be an 05 pony owner if you're sick and tired of going through drive-thru restaurants because everytime she does, she claims they ask her to pop the hood...in the drive-thru! She also comments on me always asking if she needs anything from the store.

You know the order form by heart, because that's all you had to look at besides this site. You know where you were and what you were doing when "job 1" came along. You know your VIN #, because you checked on the delivery so many times. You know who was the first person on this site to take delivery. You know how many times we heard of "false deliveries". You know what accessories there are for your car. You know all the color combinations. You know how many cars dealers were allowed to order. You can turn ANY conversation into something about the 2005 Mustang! (You're an expert!)

If you are driving home from the middle of the woods, and someone tailgates you 60 miles home until you turn off to go into your development just to look at the car(wouldn't pass). That very much creeped me out because I was phoneless and my leetle friend was home.
If your salesman calls you every other week to make sure you are still pleased with it.
If you wait 20 minutes for a parking spot when you go out to eat, just so you can park up front.

You go back to your dealer just so the other salesmen can drool for awhile.
The dealership calls you to bring it back up so other clients can see what a GT looks like.
You get furious because you park away from every car and someone will park next to you.
No one will race you because they cant believe they saw a GT.
You make your kids ride in the trunk so they will not get the car dirty.
You lay out carpet in the garage for your Mustang.

I don't have an SN197 yet, but I can speak for Mustang Enthusiasts in general:
When you go to talk to a Mustang owner, all excited to speak to another fan, and to them it's just a car. Man that kills me everytime.
Looking in the rearview mirror, seeing an '05, pulling over so it can pass you so you can see it drive by.
Doing not one, not two, but three projects/papers/speeches on the History of the Mustang in college...and getting away with it.
Going to Mustang events, and car gatherings and longing looking at other Mustangs.

...I'm not the only one!!! You also have every video available off the Net and to top that I have made CDs/DVDs to share with some fellow Mustang lovers who are "bandwidth challenged" and couldn't snag the big videos over dialup!!!
