I just ordered my 05 yesterday, and the dealer i spoke with promised $200 over invoice, with a $500 deposit...this sounds too good to be true(especially since he told me production started Oct. 1). What kind of "promises" regarding prices have yall been getting?

I would say it's a great deal - just get it in writing! Nothing's better than a he-said/she-said argument when it comes time to sign. Just give the dealer a call and ask him to fax your order with a "$200 over inv." and his name on it.. now you have a written agreement!

P.S. I got mine for $500 over - so good deal!

Yeah, I have heard mostly $500 (or about 2%) above invoice for most people. So $200 is not far off.

I have heard of some people getting $5000 over sticker.
The car will have a sticker or list price from the manufacturer. I suggest you pay that.

Yup...definitely get it in writing. Sounds like a good deal. i had a couple dealers near me tell me that they were selling them for MSRP. No more, no less, but I finally found a dealer willing to sell to me for $300 under invoice.
