OK, just wonderign who here has gotten their car with X plan? Did anyone have to provide their X plan supplyers SS#? I'm just trying to figure out why dealer needs it from me before I can pick up my car. Everything went smooth and the dealer was more then helpful with everything, just this one part bothers me. I have in an E mail from the sales manager stating that all i need to do is have the X plan # with me, no mention of SS#, so I hope I can use that to my advantage if there is an issue. Any input from anyone?

well aside from having an xplain pin, you need to prove your eligibility.

My employer told me to have the X-plan pin and some proof of my employment (check stub or employee ID badge).

You only need to give your delear your PIN number and the last 4 digits of your social security #. They will lock it in thru Ford to make sure that you are eligible and the PIN was generated in your name. You will also need to prove your eligibility, paystub, work ID, etc..
