Hi everyone- I know I saw somewhere in this forum a link to the companies whose employees were eligible for the X plan. I tried to search, but no luck. Please help me find this.
TIA,
Diane

ooohhhhh I would love to have that. I thought my friends wife had x plan but she has the A plan so I'm kinda outta luck for that unless I marry into the family or something. I was actually gonna go down to the dealership to order a GT tomorrow so this would be great timing :worship:

I don't have a clue as to what it means...Maybe the newest additions as of March 2004

I looked around the site and didn't see anything that would inciated what exactly it means.

The link was supplied to me awhile ago. I have no association with Ford.

** Denotes Companies with Canadian Contact Information

You have to be careful using someone elses x-plan pin. Some dealerships will ask for proof of employment with the partner company that the X-plan pin is associated with, some dealerships don't. The x-plan guidelines say they're supposed to ask Just be aware they may ask for a pay stub or ID card.

2MustangJohn is a factory employee and has the ability to give away a certain number of x-plan priveleges per year to friends and family. There is no needed affiliation or proof required with this. If you get x-plan through the partner program then the proof issue is valid.

Ahhh, I see. That's cool then. Good deal!

On Stangnet there was a guy giving away x-plan pins and he worked for IBM. I give the same warning there that I gave here. Sounds like it was a valid warning in that case.

Thats the exact argument i'm going to give my dealership if they bother me more with my x plan issuers SS#. By the way, should I address the issue now with the sales manager, or wait until the cars in and then threaten to walk if they give me a problem?

I'd address it now. I don't think threaten to walk on an x-plan deal when the car is sitting on the lot with other people dying to get it is going to give you all that much leverage.

Thanks for the offer. 2MustangJohn. It's going to be a while before I purchase. My dad's saleman asked if I knew anyone that was eligible for the xplan. So, I just wanted to know which companies. Looks like my brother in law is eligible.
