X-Plan Dealers....
#1
Anyone know of any good X-Plan dealers in Central Texas, prefer around Waco. Mine just turned into some do-do heads and "daddy" has renounced using X-Plan on Mustang purchases (didn't have it in writing.. ). Time to go somewhere else!

Thats a huge advantage living in Detroit. They accept it because a huge number of their customers have the discounts because of some relation to the auto industry. That has always been true of Detroit area dealers. If they didnt' accept them, they would go out of business because their competitors would accept them.
Out here in the sticks we're not as lucky.

Just find any dealer in the country that accepts X-plans, purchase it from them, and have it dropped shipped to the "do do heads' " dealership for $300. The look on their face when you pick up your car?....Priceless.

Yeah, I'm totally for red raider's idea, I have my request out to 30 dealers in Virginia right now, and so far i have a 10% reply and 100% no way :bang:
Kevb120 was very helpful and said we'd probably have more luck in the fall ordering x-plan, but I'm a little afraid that we will have another allocation problem this year. Well, I figure Raider's idea could shake things up a little. Is the $300 drop ship a standard fee? If so i might just go with that option!

Right now I am negotiating with a dealer about X plan and drop shipping to a local dealer. The dealer who is considering the X plan emailed me, and they said delivery price depends on the dealer it is being drop shipped to(usually $150-500).
I found that odd considering these are the jerks that wanted to gouge me in the first place.

I drop ship vehicles for a LOT of commercial customers all over the country. It is amazing the difference in the courtesy delivery fees that i get quoted. Usually i will shop like anyone else as my customer is the one who ultimately pays it. For example we charge $100-$150 depending on the type of vehicle. We PDI [put it in the shop to do the delivery inspection], wash the unit, and do all the paperwork. We treat the customer just like he is ours as we usually pick up some service business. It seems that the going rate in the larger metro markets is $300 and I have been quoted as high as $700 in California.

Do you usually cut out some of the delivery fees if the customer asks for there to be NO DEALER PREP? Or is the fee just a standard procedure for your dealership at a flat price?

Does anyone know which dealers in Houston (preferably in the I45 South area) that will accept an X-plan for a 2006 GT Vert Premium?
If I can't find one - does anyone know of a dealership I can order from and have it sent to Houston?
