I ordered and purchased a new Mustang under the X-plan. My first initial and last name along with the words "TAG 000X000" appeared on the window sticker as the last line under OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT. Was this the case for other X-plan buyers ?

I called my dealer 2 days ago. He mentioned something about this. He said that all orders have them. I don't know if I'm under a certain plan or what.

Title needs less caps lock.

I’m not sure why this is a big deal?

(1) All titles should be in caps IMO. What exactly is your problem with this ?

(2) Under another recent thread, an individual has a car ordered under the X-plan, but the dealer won't deliver the car. I have suggested looking at the window sticker as the car is about to arrive. Someone else claimed your name will only be on the sticker if you ordered under the A-plan.

(1) No they shouldn't be. As I don't like being yelled at online every time I refresh the forums.

(2) Most people don’t get their window sticker until they get their car.

Try a binding contract if you have trust issues.

Well gee Altoid, if you don't want to reply with an answer or don't have anything constructive to add - I for one would appreciate you NOT RESPONDING to a post.

I for one, would be interested in knowing if my name will show up on the WINDOW STICKER if I special order MY CAR.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

Is this not why you have a paper signed with the agreed VIN number on it? My car didn't even have the sticker posted. It had a "sorry... This car was sold to." sitting on the seat.

That one guy just had a crappy dealership and he didn't have the backbone to do anything about it. They don't even need to post the sticker or even hold on to it, over then if you personally want it. If that's the case then it still does not matter if there is a name on the sticker.

I like to know the answer too. I think it would be cool to have your name on the window sticker. I ordered mine, saw the VOC wasn't signed by dealer and took the paper back and made them write No price increase under x-plan and sign it.

LOL - If I paid over $25,000 for a BRAND NEW car and it DID NOT have a pristine WINDOW STICKER, I would be the one that got HOSED!

Also, I still want to KNOW...

If they ordered the car for you, it will have your name on the sticker, regardless if it was x-plan or not. If they took an existing order and just modified to fit your specs, it will not show your name on the sticker.

Also if they were just lazy and didn't bother putting your name in when ordering, obviously it won't show then either.

My car had our name on the sticker... Are you kidding, our dealer had every single employee in the entire dealership waiting for my car.

Note: I am sure that I am not the only one who is tired of the bickering. Stop. Please.

Yes - my name was on the window sticker.
It made me feel special - like the car was custom built
