X-plan is a preferred buying program Ford offers to affiliated companies, such as suppliers. Under the program you get prices which are just about equal to dealer invoice (maybe +/- $50). Dealers are also not allowed to add on documentation fees, etc., so it is intended to be a relatively painless way to get a good price. I'm sure you can find a lot more details someplace on the Forums, maybe in the "Ford Salesmen" section.

Haven't heard when prices are being released. Hopefully soon.

Hey Carl, if you work for a large company you get this. Also alot of colleges are now X-Plan and so are professional teams (Cowboys are one). If you want, PM me who you work for, and I can see if they are on the list. Its a BIG LIST!! If you don't get it from work, you can get a PIN # from anyone on Blueovalnews.com. Thats what I told my friend to do when he ordered his GT/CS from me.

X-Plan pricing = (FORD's invoice * 0.996) + $75

The reason I say Ford's invoice is because it takes into account an advertising fee that most online sites do not include. The best way to go is www.fordvehicles.com and grab the invoice price and do the calculation. I did that and came up with the same # as the salesperson.

Hey Jeff:

I have been watching the BON forums and people have been a little hesitant to give out pins lately. I just noticed my M-I-L got an extra 4 X-plan pins, so hopefully people will be a little more "giving" with them.

Guys, thx so much for all of the replies.I think im gonna pull the plug on the v6 and go for the GT though after a few of my buddies called me a p---y.Pear preasure at 41 years old....yep.Is it wrong to ask you guys what you are actually paying?Im just waiting for the official pricing to come out for the 08 model year.I have very little trust when it comes to most dealers and I would feel better knowing exactly what the final price is.Thx again.Carl

Use www.fordvehicles.com for accurate invoice pricing.
I would never recommend the V6 if there is a V8 trim.

$26k for a stripped down GT, $29k-$30k for a fully loaded GT.
