You need to be sure that your Dealer is accepting X-Plans first of all. Also, yes the plans will require a SSN. I will generate the pin number and provide it to you once I have collected the information. X plan's are for friends, neighbors, etc and I consider the first 6 people to reply my "forum friends". If it helps you purchase a Ford vehicle, then I am doing my part as a Ford employee.
Hahah you're trying to get the diecast Ford GT(40) signed by Bill Ford Jr

My dad is still stubborn about giving out his X plans. [/b][/quote]
That may be the case Amy...... However, sharing xplan's with friends and neighbors is what the plan calls for. I'm not selling them, nor breaking any a/z plan rules. All of this is legit....I promise! B)

For those of you that gave me you SSN's, I do need them to process your membership and obtain the PIN for you -- though I might just need the last 4. Don't worry, I am NOT a crook or a thief....you have my Ford email with my work number and all my info right there. If this was no legit, you could call Ford and rat on me!!!

I can vouch for Roy as far as him coming through with the information. I'm now a registered x-plan member!

Now when Amex sends me a bill for some trips to Hawaii I took in December I'll know where to turn to though!

Thanks again Roy!!!

Decisions decisions....

Pay for nekkid ladies on a mud flap or pay for nekkid ladies on a table???

I can't decide. How about I just give you a dancing banana!?

Roy came through no if and or buts about it. If you're worried about giving out your information, you do realize a through background check on the internet will give a complete history of your life including your ss# credit history bank accounts etc... be afraid be very afraid!

Mas35NYR, I am so glad you said that. It is so easy to get info on people these days. Unless the person has NEVER used the internet for ANYTHING... but even then, I can find addresses, phone numbers... yes the unlisted/private ones.

Its sad, and frightening.

JessicaRabbit: My friend does PI work and has done background checks on her dates. So I know what I'm talking about!

EleanorsMine: You don't have to have done anything bad to have someone check your background. Identity theft is a growing problem which few are aware of, that's all I'm trying to point out.

Do you guys really do Pi work? My parents own their own Private Investigation Firm here in SoCal. They find people ALL the time that have never used the internet. DMV searches, credit card company searches, etc. So many ways to find people....

Correct me if I am wrong, but I dont think Friends and Neighbors are eligible...
From Fordpartners FAQ:

2. Who is eligible?
Active employees (salaried, hourly and contract), retirees, members and their spouses who reside within the U.S. You will be required to show proof of employment or membership by an organization or company eligible for Partner Recognition benefits at the time you take delivery of your vehicle.

4. How many vehicles may I obtain through Partner Recognition?
Eligible employees (salaried, hourly and contract), retirees, members and their spouses may purchase or lease a total of two vehicles per calendar year through the Partner Recognition Program. Vehicles must be titled and registered in the eligible employee, retiree, member or spouse's name (vehicles may not be titled or registered in a company name). No other family members are eligible for Partner Recognition pricing.

It seems like I might be not be able to get the X plan.....Someone help me or correct me if I am wrong.

You mean you CANT just call Ford and say, "I want XPlan, please assign me aPIN"?

Max, Ray works in Ford Credit. As such, he gets a certain number of plans to give out. He has decided to give them to his "friends" here on the forum.

You had said your dad, (I think) can get Xplan? As his family member you should be eligible.

No you cant call Ford and get a "pin" smart hiney. You knew what I meant

As for family members, by what FordPartners website says, family isn't available if I am reading it right. Spouses are, but no mention of other family members.

Actually, Max, when I first said that you told me that you could. Yeh, I was being a smart ****, but, c'mon, it was funny. Ok, if you dont think so, I am sorry.

The XPlan is for Friends and Family. As a Family member of an eligbile employee you SHOULD be able to get it. BUT, I will be the first to admit I dont know a lot about it. I just get it, and I am stoked about it.

Roy? Kevin? Bueller?

Edit: Dern I hate it when I cant spell...

Max: This info you are providing is for A-Plan...

The X-plan states:

(Note: PINS generated in the X-PLAN System are good only in the U.S.)

Friends and Neighbors Program
Plan Description

The intent of the X-PLAN is to introduce our products to potential customers who are considering the purchase of competitive products, and to strengthen loyalty for Ford products among current Ford consumers, including former X-PLAN customers. In all cases, X-PLAN sales must be in the best interests of the Company and should not substitute for normal retail sales. X-PLAN requests must be approved for individuals only and not for companies or organizations. Active employees may approve their own X-PLAN requests by accessing www.axz.ford.com; no other approvals are required.

Employees are encouraged to seek out competitive vehicle owners and solicit X-PLAN purchases; however, current Ford owners are also eligible. Active employees of the parent Company and certain subsidiary companies in the U.S. may sponsor up to four X-PLAN requests per calendar year.

Attempts by employees to personally profit from this program are prohibited and may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Eligibility

Potential X-PLAN customers include:

Former X-PLAN customers.
Agency and contract employees are eligible for one (1) X-PLAN purchase However they must be sponsored by a regular full-time employee.
Those individuals who would reasonably be expected to purchase a competitive vehicle if not offered this incentive.
Excluded from eligibility are:

Government employees and officials whose use of the plan may be construed as influencing a public official.
Employees of Ford, Lincoln-Mercury, Jaguar, Mazda, Land Rover, or Volvo dealerships.
Anyone who has discussed a retail purchase of a vehicle prior to applying for an X-PLAN.
Note: Only employees and retirees who have access to the X-PLAN System via the Ford Intranet or the Internet ( www.axz.ford.com) are eligible to sponsor X-PLAN customers

Financing, Leasing and Insurance

Purchase financing and leasing may be obtained from any source. To learn more about Ford Financial Services online, visit www.fordfinancial.com. Non-Eligible family members may appear as co-signers or co-makers of the loan or other financing agreement, but cannot appear on the vehicle title or registration. X-Plan customers are required to provide their own liability and collision insurance for both purchases and leases. For leases, there are specified coverage minimums. Lessees should request information about these amounts from the dealer prior to obtaining insurance and signing the final lease papers. Trade-in allowance is not covered by the X-Plan and must be negotiated with the dealership separately.

Pricing

X-PLAN pricing calculations are as follows:
Ford, Lincoln and Mercury products are 4% over the Ford A-PLAN price, which is the dealer's net price.
Jaguar products are 4% over the A-PLAN price.
Land Rover products are 4% of MSRP (excluding freight) added to the invoice price (freight included).
Volvo products are 2% over A-PLAN price.
X-PLAN sales are also eligible for any applicable retail incentives.
A-PLAN prices are available by accessing www.axz.ford.com.
To review dealer invoice pricing and vehicle specifications on select Ford and Lincoln-Mercury vehicles, visit http://www.mso.ford.com/rs-bin/Right...s_products.htm.

Model Availability

All domestically marketed current model vehicles available on the A-PLAN may be purchased on the X-PLAN.
The Company may, at its discretion, exclude certain high demand models from the X-PLAN.
Mazda products are available under the S-PLAN.
New, prior model year vehicles are also available, up to March 31 of the current model year.

Retention

Vehicles purchased under the X-PLAN must be titled in the name of the eligible participant and kept in their possession for 6 months.

Process

X-PLAN purchases require the employee sponsor to generate a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for each sale. PINs are available only through the www.axz.ford.com website. To obtain a PIN, the customer's full legal name, address and last 4 digits of the Social Security Number are required.

As soon as the system generates a PIN, the employee sponsor may give the PIN to the customer to take to the dealer if they wish; however, within 48 hours of a PIN being generated, a letter is automatically mailed to the customer with their PIN, instructions for completing the transaction and thanking them for their consideration of a Ford Motor Company product. No other action or approval is required on the part of the employee sponsor.

Note: Canada has its own Friends and Neighbors Program similar to, but exclusive of, the U.S. Program.

My Xplan price is $89 over invoice. Not bad... Almost tempts me to buy a V6, but, naaaaaaaaaaaaah. I am putting half of the total price down anyway. My payments are going to be pretty low.
