Wut up
Hey guys its been along time without a new thread opened up from me lol.... Well i just hit 2000 miles and everything is going great. My mom installed a some kind of speed thing that will slow my car down or something if i go over 100 or 110 i dont what it is but it will slow it down like 30 miles.. So im accually happy because there ill be no peer pressure for me or anything. So any way i am putting exhaust on in the next week or so and hopefully adding a few other modsm but i have a question my friend has a 340 hp chrysler 300 and he wanted to race i said definitly not because i dont want to wreck my car or hurt anyone else in, so would there be any chance he could be me cuz he was saying that he had 40 ft of tourque compared to my 20 is that true?and please dont bash me cuz im not racing at all. promise

You don't have to prove anything by racing your car on the street.I'm a parent as well but I do have faith in my kids that they would be safe on the streets.I gave my boy a 74 GTO w/455 for high school,no problems. My youngest girl drove my 87' IROC,68" 396 SS Camaro and my 390 SST Javelin to school and never had an incident. She ran over a baby tree, killed it but that was with the wifes SHO Tuarus

And if it was me, I would go 120 just to see if my mom was pulling my leg.

What's the point of being young if you can't be stupid?

When I was in my teens, I just assumed the first thing one did with a car was to see how fast it went (top speed). When my dad got a Maxima, I asked him how fast it went. He said he took it up to 90 or so on the highway but did not know its top speed. I did not understand. The idea of not testing its limits was totally foreign to me. I just thought that was standard procedure. ![Biggrinjester](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrinjester.gif)
'95 Hyundai Sonata GLS was drag limited @ 118mph, slowly went up 1mph beyond that for every 1 minute of flooring it all the way up to 125mph if you have enough patience, road, and a penchant for dumbassery.
But yeah, I agree, the first thing I would have done is test the car for parental BS. ...Testing it is also the first thing I recommend against.. Do as I say, not as I do!
