WTB mustang hood

Hey Guys,

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this or not but I thought I would give it a shot.

I need a hood ASAP. Let me know if you have one that you would like to sell. If you do, please respond with the style, price you are asking and your location. I am willing to come pick it up or pay to have it shipped.

I drive a 2006 mustang.

Thank you.

I have an 07 GT stock hood (no scoop) in performance white. I just bought a 3" cowl hood that I just need to swap out. Not sure if you were looking for a stock hood or aftermarket hood. I would be willing to part with the 3" cowl hood for the right price. The cowl hood is gel coat white but it has filler on spots and has been sanded in prep for paint (fiberglass) I live in Raleigh/Durham, NC. I've never shipped a hood so as long as you help me with how to ship I'd be willing to do it. Let me know.

Edit: $100 for the stock hood

Hello,

I am interested in the hood. Is there any corrosion on the hood anywhere?
This is the main reason I am replacing mine. Its due to Ford not prepping correctly when they originally painted it. It often starts on the underside of the hood.

For shipping, its often done by freight. If you can contact a local shipping service, they probably could get you a box and give you estimates. I live in Indiana (zip 46072).

Thank you.

I'll look over my hood tomorrow in detail. I wash my car regularly and have never seen any corrosion. It may have some very small chips on it from driving. (Not saying it does but I will look closely) If it does have small chips the scratch and fix works great I used it on my front bumper. I will also take pictures and post them tomorrow for you to look at.

Thanks

I've got the pictures of the hood I just need to figure out how to upload them.

Edit: I am getting a token missing error when I try to upload.

I'll pm you my email address so I can send them to you that way.

have you checked your local junk yards? I think your going to find alot of the older hoods have the corrosion. Ford screwed up on the hoods for sure. I thought I seen one in the for sale section not to long ago

I called all the local areas and no one had any. Thanks for the idea though.

Might wanna check out this deal, especially considering the freight cost of shipping a hood, (this is free freight)

You can't beat this deal on the Foose hoods as they are by far the best aftermarket hood available... all aluminum and uses the stock frame.

That is a great deal!!

But I am not a huge fan of the fooz hoods. I was thinking either staying with the default design or a small cowl or saleen look.

Thanks though.

Are you still looking? I've got a Vista Blue hood from my '07, it was on the car about 4 months before I replaced it. It's been sitting in the garage ever since. It does have a small dent and scrape where a cooler fell off a shelf and hit it though. I can try to get a picture of it later on if you want.
