Yes, I had a one month turn around. I ordered on 8/17 and the order was pulled on the 18th. My dealer had allocation, but told me to expect 8-10 weeks. I seriously did not expect the car till around November. Things evidently fell into place alot sooner. I understand and sympathize with the wait though. Last year I ordered as soon as the order banks opened at the first of June and did not get the 05 till October.

Congratulations on your new ride. I'd be interested to hear your impressions of going from a V6 auto to a V8 manual.
I like the tungsten with the Bullitt wheels; they look like a dead on match! Good choice.

DONNA---way to go !! So glad you had such a short turnaround on your 06 GT. You are going to love this car--I sitill love mine more and more by the mile. Driving Roxanne when I can has helped me keep my sanity through the Katrina ordeal.

I just ordered a Tungstung with the red interior too. Does the red match well with tungstung amd does it accentuate the Purplish tint of the TG? I had to order an 06 GT M because I rolled and totaled my Silver 05 GT M 10 days ago. Nobody hurt though, thank God.

Ouch, Thank goodness no one was hurt. I think the red matches beautifully. Personally, I see more gun metal grey coloring than Lavender. I love the color.

Good for you Donna. I like the pic of the 06 GT and the 05 V6. Looks like big brother and lil sister! I know you'll love the GT. Any performance mods in the future?
Sorry to here that Mike. Glad everyone's ok and at least you get an 06 GT out of it! Not being an hiney or anything, but its Tungsten, not Tungstung.
