it looks good. i like it. yeah rockers are in order, and door panels would be nice. but overall its great

now buying it... well if its marked up anywhere near the modified 6er from Towne Ford over here ($7500+ and $3000 of it is "just because") then i prolly wouldnt. but if its only like $1-2K over MSRP for the mods, or is exactly what the cost of the mods were maybe....depending on the cost of the mods.

its cool that its a V6 i suppose cuz V8 insurance on a brand new car would kill me faster than a raider fan with an uzi (hehe 49er fan joke :P )

i do like it tho

No IUP or ESP. Traction control? Theft?

If all it is, is a base V6 with the stripes and bullits and leather interior I would say based on Ford's pricing maybe 22,500. But I would give no more than 20,500.

I would have to say its being true to the Hollywood image. (All of the "wow" without the talent) I can only imagine the price has skyrocketed too. Its a perfect car for that wannabe producer who has a tight budget, and wants to look more successful that he really is. trust me on this one, I live next to a guy in a empty appartment who drives a new BMW makes $125 a day and is constantly asking me for work to help pay for his $650 a month payment.

I know that a lot of v6's are being sold because of the lower price and more reasonable insurance rate, so I’m not going to tell you it won't sell, and If I were a money hungry Dealership I would sell it for at least 5k over MSRP, because someone out there will definitely need a car like that to make up for other inadequacies.

I say "pimp that ride!" and mark it way up, you'll sell a ton of these.

P.S. the blue leather looks sweet. but the stripes could be a bit wider.

As some of you know I am a Sales Manager at Cerritos Ford in So Cal Just a quick question Would you buy this and what kind of pricing? It has 9" vinyl stripes 17'Bullit wheels with spinners Custom Blue leather int with white pony Dash kit (not 18g) It is a 6cyl
I like the white w/blue stripes. The blue leather makes a bold statement, and you will have folks that enjoy that also. I hate to read comments that suggest V-6 owners would.......

I bought a V-6, only after driving the GT. My salesman encouraged me to drive the six first. The deciding factor was not the insurance rate or horsepower, or even the fog lights. I just could not see or feel a $5,000 difference.

I think you car has been dressed up and will surely be sold to someone who likes the "bold" flavor.

Those are the 65 Shelby GT racing stripes and colors. They have always looked good. JMHO, but putting those on a V6 is laughable. Anyone who knows Mustang history will think that car is just a bad joke.

Put that package on a GT and add the lower side stripes. I like it.

Er..
I like it
I wouldn't pay over retail for it though, because if I were to pay over retail for a v6, I may as well wait for a gt(but I love my six)

I think you will not have any problems selling it because it reminds me of "Boy Racer". You gotta get enough out of it to cover the mods so a reasonable markup would be understandable.

I like the blue, my 1969 Fastback had blue interior. But, the price would be the deal killer.

Use darker Blue Dye on the seats, and 10" stripes instead of 9". Otherwise, it's one of the nicer looking V6 cars I've seen.

Contrary to most, I like the Blue seats. It makes the interior as flashy as the outside.

Personally, I like it. It's different than all the other V6's. I like the color scheme too. I would also like to see blue rocker stripes added. Then, add the tri-bar pony's to the side fenders and put a duck-tail on it. Sweet ride! How much over base MSRP do they want? Since you work for Ford, you should be able to get it at a better price, no?
I'd say get it! Performance White was one of my top color choices.

I would never buy a car that looks like that.

I like it , but I would not buy it.... I would prefer to do the customization myself to save money... which, if I'm lookin' to purchase a V6, is the whole point.
Not to knock the add-ons, they're great, but they would probably suit a GT customer more.
