Agreed I say go for it, no sense in waiting...mod what you got now. I already got plans in the works to either get a refreshed v6, or if finances work out a freshed GT or better yet, the all new GT coming out in 2009/2010, plus I plan to keep my current 2006 v6. It's my first Mustang ever so barring anything catastrophic, I don't plan to trade it in for any other car, including another Mustang. When I get another Mustang, it'll join the stable with the '06 and possibly the '03 (if it doesn't get traded in on the '09/'10, lol).

If you have the cash on hand, you might as well buy the parts. I heard an interesting theory on this a while back. It was about performacne parts for motorcycles, but applies to cars just as well: you're just renting the parts. When it comes time to sell the car, put it back to stock and sell the parts. The difference between the purchase and selling prices of the parts is your rent.

There is always going to be somthing newer or faster coming out. So don't worry about it and mod what you got. if you keep waiting you will wait forever.
