Hello all. I plan on getting exterior color windveil blue when I order my 05 GT. Just wondering what you all think will look the best for interior. I'm definately getting the IUP. Just wondering if the red I'm considering right now will be a wise choice Tell me what ya think or give me some ideas to help me make this exciting decision easier

Umm no. I don't even know if that option is available. Someone knows. Anyway im glad ford nipped that little issue in the butt. No one wants to see lime green with a red int.

Now windveil with a BLUE int... would be to die for... But alas is not to be..

Oh yeah, go with tan or light charcoal. Preferably light charcoal.

Red is not available on Windveil, and a handful of other colours.
Yeah, it'd look clashy...

The windveil is a colour that has all 3 regular interior colours as options.

I wouldn't get tan...
The light graphite is alright, but I'm personally going with the dark charcoal interior on the WB.

I agree totally with Boomer that the Dark Charcoal is the way to go with the Windveil Blue. That is the combination I ordered.
The car I got to see at the autoshow had the Light Graphite.
You can see pictures of it if you look back at the Houston autoshow threads.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I hope that the dark charcoal comes in leather cuz I want my stang to have leather seats.

Great then I think I have decided what color interior I will get. I have 1 other ? though. Will the 05 Stang have metal accelerator and brake pedals like the current stangs do? I sure hope so.

accelerator question:

Unknown...but probably not.
We've seen tonnes of pics of 05s with the interior upgrage package, and no metal pedals, nor does it mention them in the IUP.

I wouldn't doubt if they come out eventually for special editions/cobra's
and we'll have to add them after the fact...or it'll be added later to the IUP

I'd like some metal pedals because it would look really good with the IUP (shifter, steering wheel spokes etc) but overall its not a biggy if they don't have'em.

I'd go charcoal personally if I was getting WB. The beige would look good also though. But black is more sporty.

I'm going to have to wait until I see it in person because the photos all seem to show it differently, but I'm thinking the parchment interior would look nice. Time will tell.

Well after seeing those Houston autoshow pics I'm definately going with the dark charcoal About those medal pedals. Maybe if they are added to the IUP later on they will be available by May 05 when I order mine?? I can only hope.

thinking of getting WB and when i get the car send it to an apholster(sp) and get an estimate on reskinning the seat with light blue leather. I WANT BLUE SEATS AND I WANT THEM NOW! and then working on the rest of the blue trim. if this SE doesnt turn out to be what i want then i am ordering an 05. might even be a vert. then the light blue interior will look amazing with the top down....crap another wet dream!

I however am not brash enough nor economically suited to do major mods like that to a new car. However I feel your pain. :bang:
