Wind noise - suggested fixes?
Wind noise - suggested fixes?
I noticed the other day some wind noise coming from my passenger door (had the radio on mute for once!!!). Upon investigation today I discovered that the window is not sealing against the weatherstripping at the bottom of the window right above the door lock pin.
The gap between them is big enough that I can easily slide a business card between them as indicated in the first two pictures. By comparison, here's a pic of the driver's side which you can see the good seal as the card can't be inserted.
Anyone know of a way to fix this or do I need to take it into one of the local stealerships to get them to fix it?

Try the dealship first. I had the same problem on a much older car.I took and replaced the weather stripping and to compensate for the gap along the whole strip I used a 3/8" manilla rope behind the rubber.I used the weather strip adhesive it never came off and the wind noise went away. The rope actually made the rubber buldge out just enough for a good seal.
Does the window raise up after you close the door? The door may be misaligned enough to cause that gap between your window.

you might want to try the window reset procedure just to make sure the passenger window is correctly calibrated... this only takes a few minutes:
