Will Ford's "Sync" option be available on the 09' MY?

Does anyone know if the "Sync" option will be available on the Mustang for the 2009 model year?

For those that are not aware, Ford will be offering an option on "most ford vehicles" to be marketed as "Sync" in 2008. This multimedia option will integrate MP3 players and Bluetooth devices into the stereo system.

You can read more about the "Sync" option in the article linked below at AutoBlog.

Taking into consideration that they are offering the "Mobile-Ease" option in the 08 MY to integrate Bluetooth phones, I have assumed that there are no plans for the option within the 08 production run.

Thanks for any insight you may have.

I think Ford needs to do something with their audio systems. The Shaker systems are not leading tech any more. At least add a USB, and/or flash card reader to the front of the Shaker systems.

I agree...as much as I would never drive most of the Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep vehicles out now (waiting for Challenger)... they have the MyGig systems in thier cars with 30gb HDD built-in, USB port to upload pics for wallpapers and slideshows and songs, DVD player while car is in park, Navigation, satellite radio, ability to rip cd's to HDD, etc.

Yeah really, at least just replace the Shaker 500 6 CD-R with a single DVD Player. You would get about the same amount of music on a single DVD!
