The wife wants my vert!

Today while backing the stang out of the garage, my wife looks at me and says with a complete staight face, "This is my car now, you can have it back in November!" She never really cared too much for any of my other stangs in the past, but I think she really likes the attention she gets in the vert. I told her she could drive it whenever I wasn't using it, but that's as far as I'll go!

I went out and got my wife a vert after she kept driving my coupe. Give her the car! It is totally worth it and you can get a new car and "favors"!

LOL, mine knows I want an orange Mustang, so her deal is that she gets mine "as is" and I get a new one. Not sure I want to do that with so many mods I've done to the current one. However....it is tempting!!!

Keep the car, replace the wife!

Only kidding, I had to say it.

My first question would be why...then I would make a deal. That's all we really do with the wives isn't it. Pretend you're trading the car in to your wife and make the best deal you can...

Give it to her, before she takes it.

Why do you think I bought an F-150 six months after the Mustang?

Thanks for all the "advice" from everyone! As for the request for a pic, she's a looker but she'd a absolutely kill me if I ever posted anything on line! A few days ago I mentioned to her that I'd like to sell the '07 at the end of the summer and order a 2010 for delivery in the spring. At first she said OK, then she woke up (it was literally 7am on Sat am when I sprung it on her) and reminded me that I bought two new vehicles within three months of one another. She's driving an '04 Lexus RX at the moment but she's had some great cars herself, her favorite of which was a '85 RX-7 GSL (last year of the original body) that we traded in the day before my first son was born. Loved that car a lot but the kids are better!

Um, so tell her to go buy her own? I don't see the issue here

I guess I'll be the different one here. After owning Mustangs since I was 16, I traded in my Kawasaki ZX6r and '01 GT True Blue vert on an alloy 2007 GT...that was promptly stolen from me by my husband!!! We've always had his and hers Mustangs since I turned him away from Corvettes. Anyways, he couldn't keep his grubby mitts off of it, so I went back to driving my truck.

Fast forward six months...I traded in his Acura TL Type-S in for a Vista Blue vert. Now we have two ponies back in the stable, and since we've ditched riding, there will be MORE to come!

Your husband is freakin' lucky. I hope you let him know that all the time.

Bob,

Too funny. My wife still has never driven mine. I've offered but she could care less. I can't believe it's been 2 years since we got ours. This weekend mine went from the garage queen (never seen rain) to my daily driver (which included the storm with the south Chicago suburban tornados and our friends muddy road). Uggh, it just killed me, but am now looking forward to driving it EVERY day from April thru November (it'll still get put away for the salty winters).

Bob, great opportunity to get a GT500 to replace it!!!!

Hi Steve, did you get rid of your Continental daily driver? Or did you just decide to start using the Stang more?? Mine's turned into the "cell phone plan car" - I only seem to use it nights and weekends!
