I've thought of naming my car, but nothing has really stood out for me yet. I've seen lots of names here that I liked and they fit the cars.
My wife says the car has taken some of the focus she used to get since I have to wash it each weekend, clean the interior, etc. So - a few days ago when I was going to just go for a drive, she said "Oh, spending time with that little s l u t again huh." I just laughed it off though and we both went for a drive.
Again this morning she asked "How is your little <the original banned word rhymes with "hut".......please don't bypass the filters again :nono: > doing?" Again I laughed and told her that was officially my cars name now. Little Sl*t.

She sounds like my wife. I had aready named my car "ELLEN", but the wife ALWAYS refers to her as "THE <*****>".
I know the filters didn't catch that, but I don't think a word such as that should be used on a family site. Will fix problem with filters. Dan

I want to name mine Roxanne. Love the name for more ways the one (ahhh the old high school days), "Foxy Roxy" and the Sting song with my color choices. Wife also remembers a Roxanne from her old neighborhood (not a good memory for her).
Wife states she would be VERY UPSET if I chose that name.
Do you think I should choose something else?

On the other hand, I chose Roxanne for my WB GT Deluxe, based on the recommendation of a good Mustang buddy of mine who dated a Roxanne years ago, and he still remembers her to have been "one sweet ride" (no offense to anyone intended).
I declined to use Rhonda, my high school sweetheart, out of concern that my wife would react the same as yours to Roxanne.
I had to go with the "R" thing though, to fit with "Rachel", my 65 fastback (see avatar).

So wait a second. Altoid can go off on people and NEVER add to a thread, just making belittling, stupid comments all the time, and I can't put "ban altoid" in my sig because it will" cause problems". But use the word **** or ***** and thats the end of the world? Are you kidding me? So since this is "a family site", you would rather have said family getting flamed and belittled than have then see a "bad word"? Wow, thats puzzling. I realize it is your site and you can run it any way you want, but please at least be consistant. Didn't you see what happened to John Kerry?
I will ignore the length of signatures in this thread, even though brad said he would do something about it =/ ... Actually, I won't. Here's some fun statistics:

Waste space much?
I also included previous quotes in the first count, so its actually less than 56. More like 40. So 3:1 sigs over text.
And before I get another PM saying "turn off sigs in your options", some of them are worth looking at, like mustangfun's sig. Links to his car and such.
However, 13-20 lines of complete drivel is worthless. Five line max sig rule, thanks.
