Why people hate the GT spoiler

Some of us *gasp* even mix up the stable with a few GM products.




I don't get people who only like one brand, and with their last breath, disparage anyone who feels otherwise. They're all cars, and all manufacturers get something right once in a while.

I even *gasp* own an import or two.....

IMO, the GT spoiler looks like the tacked-on piece it is. Would have preferred a factory ducktail spoiler/lip integral with the trunk, otherwise spoiler delete FTW.

I like it with or without but, prefer with. I would like a duck tail type even better though.

I didnt like the spoiler at first and actualy ordered a Mustang without it. I guess it grew on me because now I like it and cancelled my order for one that has the spoiler. I do like the ducktail spoilers too and may eventualy try out one of those.

I've never hated it. With mine, I wanted clean and mean(and under the radar of most LEO's...), but I kinda like all the factory spoilers. It just depends on the theme you want for your car. Alas, as I have succumbed to practicality my Mustang has been replaced by an Edge, but the factory spoiler on that one is ok too

I didn't want a spoiler with mine but they didn't have spoiler delete on the lot. I tried to trade trunk lids but they didn't have a black spoiler delete on the lot. I still want to throw mine away and go with a ducktail though. Kinda like the 67-68 shelbys still staying with the 67-68 design the car was based off of.

I think it all depends on personal preference.. as some prefer the clean look, while others prefer the spoiler/wing look..Personally, I prefer the factory wing because IMHO, it gives the car a more sporty/aggressive look..

I bought my baby off a lot, so I really didn't have a choice about getting one without a wing. So now here I am, thinking about how much it would be to have it removed at a body shop, because there is no way I'm have a bunch of holes in trunk.
