The cars look more like the 68 and earlier models and the wing is from a different era. It just doesn't fit with me.

+1 Or any other standard-issue tacked on spoiler.

+1 Exactly...should have never been there in the first place.

The 05-08's are styled with bits of '65-'68, not so much '69-'70. IMO it's just out of place.

Plus in addition to the poor visibility AFBLUE mentioned it just makes the already too high rear end look even higher!

No need to look back if you're way out in front...

I don't hate it and i don't love it. I think it certainly has some heritage in it, as does the cars without, I think bot can look clean, but I would say to me the stock GT wing would have more heritage being satin black on a different color body. i personally removed mineas soon as I could for ducktail type, because I loved the look of the rear end with that ducktail standing up adding more body color and visual weight. To me the ducktail increases the visual stength of the car as a muscle car. To each his own.

Yes, if you're going to have a spoiler, then THAT is how it's done.

I don't hate it I just think if you are gonna do a wing then it should be like the old mach wings. They had very thin adjustable uprights..the new stangs all have super thick ugly uprights giving the wing a chunky look that detracts from the looks

To ME our cars mimic the 65-66 models from a side profile. Those year models did not have a spoiler and when I look at the cars from a rear angle, the resemblance to ME is that much stronger. No I don't hate the GT spoiler, but I do love the clean look and the uniqueness of the look on a GT...MY GT.

Eh, I could take or leave them. Frankly, they don't really do much for me, so I'd probably just as soon do without them. However, I will say I dislike fake scoops more than superfluous spoilers.

Wow i didnt know so many people disliked the wing. I personally like the look of it. I think the back looks boring without it. It kind of adds some subtle detail to it.

I like the spoiler because it helps with backing up.

I too preferred the look of a ducktail spoiler... the Cervini's C wing to be exact.

Ok, don't take this the wrong way but...

How? Like pushing aside low hanging fruit or something?

Wink

Canadian Parts Manufacturers Conspiracy.
More Plastic on Vehicles equals more Profit.

When I purchased my Mustang, Spoiler Delete was not an Option in Canada (Where the Spoiler is Manufactured).

It's all up to your Personal Preferences anyway, It's your Car.

I have the spoiler and GT app pkg (scoop) on my GT and I simply love the look. I get so many compliments on my car. I do see other GT's around here but not many with that package.
I just think it works well with the overall look of the car.

The GT appearance package was something that had to be on the car when I bought it. I really liked the wing spoiler, but after seeing the Shelby spoiler I felt that it better suited the looks of the car. So I ended up replacing the stock wing with a Shelby spoiler and have no regrets. (I ended up replacing the hood scoop as well)

I don't hate it but I don't love it either. On the 05+ I like a ducktail. I have a CDC on mine and love the way it looks. I don't hate the 05's with no spoiler at all, but I think it needs something.

On my 2000, I don't have a spoiler and I have the bullitt side scoops. The best look for a 99/04 IMO.

Overall, the theme here is I like a clean look with smooth lines. But that's not for everyone.
