I didnt go to Crystal Cove this morning because I thought it was going to be a dud turnout with monterey going on this weekend and all but it turns out that it became a bg domestic turn out with lots of stangs, cobras, vettes and vipers among some of the usual exotics, dont know which I am more bumbed about missing this week or last week....oh well, but I did find these pics of this 05 there this morning and I am wondering whos it is, havent heard of you in the area, seen you at any shows, or online so whats the deal, someone has to know this car and who it belongs to.........

I like everything on it except the wing and the way they have the "GT 281" without the stripes over and under it. I actually like it with those wheels and scoops.

Egads... I wouldn't claim it...

Is that a Cobra R wing? Doesn't seem to belong on this bodystyle at all...
rrobello, I'm sure theres thousands of modified stangs out there that don't belong to this site :P Heck, there were 2 GTs done up like that (minus the wing) about 20 miles from here and the guy was selling them as "Shelby" Mustangs... and getting away with it... because the locals (he's in the boonies) didn't know any better.

There was one almost exactly like that at Mustang Alley yesterday... Sonic Blue, white stripes, the same wing!
The only difference looked to be that there was no hood scoop (but there was a painted chin spoiler).
Strangest part was that the guy who owned it was in his late 40s/early 50s.
A few Ford reps were over looking at it, and the guy was REAL proud for a couple seconds... saw them walk away and as soon as they got out of the owner's line of sight, the looks on their faces would have been priceless.
