right now I will be keeping my 05 gt, only 14K miles on it, runs awesome. maybe do some new mods for a few grand to keep her young and new to me. who knows though once that camo comes off and you can really get a good view, I may change my story.

I don't own a 05 but to me the 2010 looks to be a better car. I was never exactly crazy about the 05 looks and thought the car looked way to bulky. If they are going to make it visually smaller i think it will be much more attractive and the new engine with 400hp and at least equal efficency...whats not to love.

Like others said, I'm not impressed with the looks of the 2010. Probably because I think the GT front looks better than the GT 500. Plus the retro styling of the current model is what I like the best. Waited too long to my 08. Don't see getting a new one for a very long time.

The thing about the current retro look, and pardon me if I'm a bit biased, is when a nice Stang rolls by you, you can't help but notice it.

Went to a cruise night this past Saturday evening - in O.P., KS, at a Winstead's burger place. The KC Vintage Mustang Club has a cruise the second Saturday of every month. There were tons of cars there - all makes and models. Lots of folks were hovering around the S197s. Most were modded, some weren't. I have to say they are natural car lover magnets. They fit in very well with the classic Mustangs. I don't hear the classic guys bag on them, either, as they have done occasionally with the Fox cars or previous body style.

Well financially I just could not justify trading it in and the promise of more power doesn't make me want to restart payments. It was the looks that grabbed me in the first place and from what I've seen it looks like the model refresh appear (to me) less attractive. Plus I really love my car and only have 20k after almost 4 years of ownership. I'd also have a hard time giving up the sonic blue, even though these cars are everywhere now I still get compliments on the color and asked if it's a custom paint.

If fuel prices get too much more out of hand I would consider a second fuel efficient car or motorcycle over trading in my baby.

Gotta agree with Jayhawk. The current Mustang doesn't look out of place parked next to say...a 1966 model. You can see the family resemblance. I never felt that way about my '72. It looked more like a Torino than anything else. Back on topic: I'm keeping my '08 until it explodes.

Got an 06 tungsten with Gt500 front and just love it. Will look to see what the new style brings to decide. Mustangs all over in our City. Three on my block alone. Daughter's boyfriend just got a used 06 from Texas on E-bay. Car cos. are restricting production of SUVs so I hope that muscle car engines don't get the same axe.

The 2010 would really have to move me, which so far it doesn't, and come in grabber blue to get me out of my 06.

I'm keeping mine. I simply love it...and my philosophy on car is, "drive 'em until the wheels fall off!"

Cool "CalStang" is a member of the family

We too will be keeping our wonderful 2007 CalStang! When I first saw the S197 prototype car at a 2003 new car show, it was a total love at first site! Finally a wonderful looking Stang, that really did reconnect to it's own heritage. It was like "Back to the Future" for me! Finally. A second chance to buy a really hot looking brand new Mustang! One that I just could not afford as a young man, trying to make it.

Granted this S197 is not the perfect Mustang for everyone. But that is also the wonderful beauty of it all. So very many companies everywhere, make just about anything and everything for this new piece of Mustang history. So much so, that you can build it or fix it just the way you believe that it is perfect for you. And best of all. It is affordable fun for everyone who just loves being out there driving their very own piece of Mustang history!!

Have changed some things that were just not right for us. Added some mods that say its ours. So now everyone knows its us, when we arrive to show, shine or just cruise! Yes. There will always be much newer ones, much faster ones and much fancier ones too. But this CalStang is ours. And it is this kind of love affair, that the Mustang owners of the world have really understood for about 45 years now.

Someday in the future, when I'm all gone and when cars will have become so very different than they are today. Someone I hope will be saying. Thanks tons folks, for keeping this wonderful white 2007 Mustang GT/CS 5-speed coupe in our family!! We really are lucky dogs today!! "RC"

Although I'm looking very forward in seeing the 2010 re-fresh, I'll be keeping my current 05 GT.

Even though the 2010 will have hips along with the 5.0L 400HP 4V in 2011. My 05 GT, has all the retro styling and power that I've always wanted, that I'm more than satisfied as it is. Besides I've already put lots of money into modifying my current GT, and the last thing I need, is to wind up with car payments all over again.

Most of all, I gave up my 93 SVT Cobra that I had for 10 years, because my current 05 reminded so much of the 1st generation cars from the 60's, that I was more than willing to take which ever steps was necessary, in order to get one.

That being said, I have no intentions of giving up my current 05 GT, regardless of what the 2010+ may look like !

Keeping my '05 GT vert until I am too old to take care of it. Which, the way it is going, may be sooner than I think.

Looks like the '05-'09 is an instant classic. The owners just don't want to part with them.
