Who ordered after 12/1/04 and what is your status?

Ordered 12-13, V6 Premium Vert, ICAP and IUP. The Robot Lady says that as of 3-1 my unit is locked for production. Dealer says car MIGHT be here by St. Patrick's Day, but COULD also be as late as the 1st week in April. Oh...and no XPlan (don't even know what that is), getting car at MSRP.

Ordered 1/13. C/U, X-plan and priority code 45.
From what I understand, your priority code and your dealer's allotment play a far greater role in determining when you will get your car than when you ordered or what you are paying.

yes, dealer knows I have a X-pin, but since there are a lot of horror stories about cars being ordered under the X-plan only to be delivered and have the dealership no longer honor the price (to sell it at a higher mark up) I went ahead and just ordered it as a regular retail sale. I am going to grind them when the car comes in anyways so its kind fo irrelevant about the discount at this point. I really just want my car to get here and I figure I will deal with the pricing once I go to pick it up. Plus another dealer has my second option car for $500 under invoice which makes it just a hair above $18,000 for what I want so if my ordered car deal goes sour I will just back out and buy my second option car.
Since sales have been slow here I doubt I will have a problem though, I will even pay MSRP on my ordered car with no X-plan if they work the numbers right on my trade. In the end really the only thing I care about is if the monthly payment is worth it for the car. They have to make money to live too so you know in the end its really about whether or not that monthly payment is something you can live with. Since I am looking at anything below $400 being resonable to me to unwind out of my current car and driving my 05 Stang I think it will be a slam dunk.
I am actually expecting about a $350 payment with 2k down and 72 month buy and an upside down trade. So I am pretty sure the deal will be close.

Just got great news.
Paid a visit to Super Steve at Whiteoak. Had to drop off my plates and sign registration. He tells me that the baby has been PRODUCED!!!!
I guess i have 2 steps left. Release and Ship.
His ETA says March 4 but I hope that is not true.
Surgery on the 1st. I'm sure he won't mind taking care of her for me for a few days. RIIIIIIGHT!!!

The dealer called it surgery? That's just the nickname Ford gave it (at the factory) when they're installing the My Color dash! No wonder it's taking so long... they're having to knock these ponies out to install the upgrades!!
