Who has one in Pittsburgh?

I'm originally from Pittsburgh. Does that count?
Anyway, go to the regional threads and you may have better luck finding other stangers in your area. One thread is:http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=6130
You and I have the same MG 05 GT though.

Hey, I recently moved to Pittsburgh and haven't seen ANY '05s on the road. You got yours at Shult's. Did you see that beautiful Black one inside? The man inside was tellin me that McCracken was buying all the GT's to sell above MSRP.

I have a Redfire GT in the Greentree area. I have had it over a week now. I saw another GT (Black) the other day while driving. I even went tot he Steelers game yesterday. While waitign for traffic to die down I had a million compliments and conversations about the 05.
I went to dinner at a place that had valet parking. I watched them park the car to make sure it was ok. They guy came back and got all the staff to pop their heads outside to take a look. We talked a little and he said he loved driving it the 10 feet he was allowed to. I ened up getting a spot near the front door.
If you are in the Pittsburgh area, there is a Greater Pittsburgh Mustang Club meeting on December 1 at 7:30pm at the Kings in Harmerville. People usually show up around 7pm. I just called and they said no member has an 05 yet. They said I was the first. I talked to another memeber (edit - it is PittPerson) here and he said he was going to join also. So now they have two 05s in the club.

I just returned home from Pittsburgh. I went to Morrow Ford (Beaver Falls) to get my oil changed (3000 miles). The salesmen and mechanics were all over it. The one salesman told me they don't expect to see a GT for about a year. Mine was the first they've seen. I find it hard to believe they won't see one for a year.
I thought I had a lot of attention down here in Florida with this car, but man, up there, people are all over it. I actually asked the service manager to sortof get going with my oil change. They sat there for roughly 40 minutes looking at my car and I had some other places to get too. This car does pretty great on the highway. It wouldn't get over 21 Avg. MPG though. Not quite big enough for road travel with a wife and 5 year old. My only real complaint is that with my left hand on the steering wheel comfortably, my elbow sits in the slot of the door arm rest.
