Arrgh, I'm not locked in yet according to ERL.

 

That is sad. In the grand scheme of things, is waiting one more month that bad?

If some other dealer offered me the exact same car today that I ordered for the same price I still wouldn't take it. Teri is the best salesperson in the world and there's no way I'd give my business to anyone else.

With build week of 10/10, you should get locked in next week, if everything stays on plan. No guarantees, but check back late Tuesday night next week and you should find yourself locked in, too. Hang in there!

 

I hope so. I had a build week of 10/3. I hope I get a build day of 10/10 and delivered 10/25 or so. October delivery would be sweet!

 

That was a rough couple of days when we went from build week 10/3 to 9/26 then back to 10/3 then to 10/10 :angry:. Hopefully the ERL gods won't punish Chuck and I any more.

I'm not checking again till next Tuesday like Chris said.

Yesterday Tues the 27th I was locked in for production week of Oct. 3rd and ETA to dealer week of Oct 9th!! See wav file in my sig.

Well I call tonight, and she says same build week oct 3rd, but not the word locked in! and ETA to dealer moved to week of th 15th.

Who unlocked it! lol. Oh well

Get this...dealer called me today and said my car is built and I will have it the week of Oct. 24. ERL said yesterday that I was locked for production as of Oct. 4 with a Oct. 18 ETA.

Today the ERL says as of Oct. 4 car is scheduled to be built the week of 10/03, but now is unlocked with a 10/24 ETA.

I don't know who to believe. :scratch:

 

That is odd. I've heard of ERL being out of date but not by that much. Maybe ISELLFORD or Teri will chime in and clear things up.

 

Y'know... I was going to say that the cryptic message you got sounded like perhaps you got built, but I wasn't sure and didn't want to get your hopes up. Something like this happened to some other TMS'ers last year. The week you actually get built ERL seems to go haywire with weird dats and becomes pointless, because she does not have enough words in her "vocabulary" to tell you exactly what is going on. That's what Kzinti on blueovalforums is for, but the site's been down a few days and it's been MURDER! Kzin, come baaaack! I'd believe your dealer more than ERL at this stage.

 

Similar here. I was "Locked" for 3 Oct and ETA of 11 Oct. Now I'm not "locked" and the ETA is 17 Oct! WTF???

was in dealer to get purchase order (hand written out the door total)
new ca manager seen me comin and ran in the back, and when i came in handed me an application for employment, lol. I had told my salesmen I sold my Tbird in 5 hours.
Anyway he showed me his printout with the current ETA of the 15th not the origional 9th ERL had said.
Oh well, no biggie

I keep buggin my g/f's Uncle who is engineer at Vehicle Operations which is the manufacturing headquarters for the assembly plants.
Early this A.M. Email was

"John, your car was produced yesterday. The next things are gate release and then shipping date"

I cant wait to see what he has to say tomorrow morning!
