Got bumped from 05 to 06 and my dealer didn't get mine reordered until 6/24.
To make thing worse DORA was 7/13. From what I'm seeing here he should
have gotten my 06 ordered in April or May. Makes you wonder why he sat
on it so long. By the way no build date either. My priortory is 12 but with such
a late order date it doesn't matter if it was 1 because it seems I'm near the end of
the line anyway. With service like this Ford and Bethlehem Steel will have the same thing in common in a few years. Both will not exist.

Wow!! not exsist?? Ford is 1 of the biggest compaies in the world...and Customer service is "JOB 1". The process of buying the hottest car in America has been the best experiance I've had in a long time. I THINK YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT FORD AND BETH STEEL NOT BEING AROUND (ALONG WITH GM CHRYSLER AND SEVERAL OTHER AMERICAN COMPANIES!!!

 

The really sad thing is that Walmart is the largest employeer in this country. I
don't see too may GT's sitting in their employee parking. I pity the young people
just starting out. Oh well at least they can get a Chevy Cobalt.

Just got my build date yesterday, Aug 22nd. I originally ordered a 05 in early june, I had to reorder as a 06 in early july and got my DORA on the 15 of july, with a priority of 20. I have a Deluxe Windveil Blue manual GT comming my way with no options. I did not care about the MYcolor option, so I guess that helped get mine moving pretty quick. I will order a aftermarket silver dashkit sometime later on to spice up the interior. I have never liked Leather interior, unless it came in a Jag or Ferrari, so I went with cloth. My first stang, a 65 had vinal interior and since I live in arizona, I always stuck to it. I do kinda wish I would have ordered the 18in buillits, but since they are only comming with 235's, after replacing the tires with something bigger, I can just buy aftermarket, and save the standard 17's and put some drag radials on them for the occasional trip down the 1320
