Who do we call at Ford to get status on car orders?

Who do we call at Ford to get status on car orders?

I read a few posts here at TMS about calling Ford HQ and inquiring about the status of factory orders. Does anyone have a point of contact at Ford and what information is required?

Also, what do the different priority numbers represent (11 vs 10 vs?)

I had 1-800-962-3746 until she put a restraining order on me.(1-800-392-3673 customer relations) last ones I had

When you call the ERL you will need;

1. Your Dealer's Number (remove any letters, just use the numbers...eg. if your Dealer's number is F16548, remove the "F")

2. The Year of the car you have on order

3. The Body Number (T82 for Mustang Coupe GT)

4. Your Order Number.

With the above information in hand, call 1-800-962-3746 and follow the prompts. Its easy.

BTW...the robot lady has always been very nice to me! :-)

Yes.

The Dealer Number, Order Number and Body Type are all shown on the DORA.

I used this order line in some cases a couple of times a day...the automated system did not comprehend my home phone as well as my cell so I made most of the calls from my cell...although this is a toll free number, don't forget your minutes like I did and get a phone bill $100.00 higher than normal.

I spoke with Ford Customer Relations Center a few weeks ago and they said the car was in prod and to expect it the week of 10/28.

Today, when I called ERL, I was told the car was being shipped via rail carrier and the ETA is week of 10/17/2006.

If this is true....
I'M GONNA CRAP MY PANTS!!!!!

Mine surprised me a week early too.... but just a word to the wise.... if you're gonna crap a banana..... don't do it in your own car.... do it in someone else's.

Does anyone know how often the ERL is updated? I tried calling today and it's same info as yesterday....

I think it is updated only once a week. I forgot the day though. I'd try again tomorrow. It's kind of fun talking to the robot lady.

Does the ERL tell you all the events or just the most recent ones?
In other words, if I call 3 months from now and already bought the car, will it tell me all of the events from the beginning?
