Why the interest in turbo when the Superchargers option is so much cleaner etc...

I don't mind superchargers....matter of fact...I was thinking about going the Saleen route...but I am not ready to make a purchase for either so I am weighing my options.

Depending on what your doing with your car, a turbo has a lot more range. Very easily you can set a low boost high mileage setting for you daily driving and also have a high boost setting for your weekend. Not to mention all the room in between. Turbos face very little parasitic loss compared to S/C. The one up S/C have on turbos is their simplicity. Install and maintenace is relatively simple compared to Turbos. Turbos typically have more potential then S/C. Given the general mustang owner, though, the S/C is usually the way to go.
