Whhel rub on brake caliper

Wheel rub on brake caliper
I have an 06 V6. I just swapped my stock 17" bullitts for stock 18" bullits. There is a very slight rub on the front wheels between the wheels and the calipers. Has this happened to anyone else? Will they wear down or am I barganing for a disaster if I drive with them?

If the wheel is in fact rubbing on the calaper no matter how slight do not drive it! Aside from possible catastrophic damage at the very least you would probably throw your new wheels out of balance from the wear on the metal, the wheels are likely a softer metal than the brake components.

Agreed. There can be no friction points and expect to drive safely.
Is the rub on front or back?
Is it just one spoke or does every spoke hit?
If it is just on one spoke or wheel, you may have just got one that did not meet specs and can be replaced. I personally went with aftermarket 18 Deep dish bullitts and had no problems.
